While the 2021 NFL season is still months away, it is never too early to prepare for the fantasy season. Whether it’s research, mock drafts, or going with your gut, everyone has a way to prepare for their fantasy drafts. However, this isn’t another article to help you prepare for the fantasy season. Today, I am going to give three bold fantasy predictions for the Dallas Cowboys in 2021.

Both Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb Finish as Top-15 Wide Receivers
Despite Dak Prescott only playing in five games last season, Cooper finished the year as the WR15 while Lamb finished as the WR24. However, in the five games that Prescott played, Cooper averaged 17.8 fantasy points per game while Lamb averaged 17.1 per game. With those averages, Cooper would have finished last year as the WR6 while Lamb would have finished as the WR9. While Dak won’t play at the level he did to start the 2020 season for a full 17 games, the defense is so awful that the team will be in shootouts most weeks. With a terrible defense and an elite quarterback, both Cooper and Lamb can finish as top-15 wide receivers.

Ezekiel Elliott will Rush for Under 1,300 Yards
Last season Elliott had a career-low 979 rushing yards. Furthermore, in each of his previous four seasons, Zeke either rushed for over 1,300 yards or would have on a full 16 game pace (Zeke had 983 rushing yards in 10 games during the 2017 season). Even if Dak never got hurt, Zeke was on pace to fall short of the 1,300-yard mark last season. In the games with Prescott, Zeke averaged 72.8 rushing yards per game, totaling 1,165 rushing yards over 16 games. Furthermore, Zeke has been less involved in the red zone over the last four years. After scoring 16 total touchdowns as a rookie, Zeke has scored nine or fewer in three of the past four seasons. Buyer beware if you use a first-round pick on Zeke.
Dak Prescott Finishes as the Overall QB1
Prescott got off to a hot start last season, averaging 30.6 fantasy points per game in his four healthy games. In addition, during that span, Dak averaged 50.3 pass attempts per game. Furthermore, Prescott had a 4.5 percent touchdown rate while scoring once every 5.3 rushing attempts in the first four games of the season. However, Dak’s value in fantasy has been writing the wall for a while now. In 2018, Dak Prescott finished as the QB10, averaging 17.9 fantasy points per game. In 2019, he finished as the QB2, averaging 21.1 per game. Then, in the 4.5 games he played last season, Dak averaged 27.1 fantasy points per game. On a point per game basis, Dak would have finished last season as the QB1.
