Eduardo Camavinga has Announced his Arrival

Eduardo Camavinga

Earlier this month, Eduardo Camavinga arrived at Real Madrid. The 18-year-old French midfielder is now playing for one of the most successful clubs in Europe. He will be learning from some of the best and is now truly being set up for a future of success. Camavinga’s future is not only bright with Los Blancos; he has the potential of becoming a major star for the French national team, as well.

Though Camavinga has yet to start a game, he’s already emerged from of the gate quickly. He came off the bench in Real Madrid’s match against Celta Vigo last weekend and just a few minutes later scored his first goal for Los Blancos. In Real Madrid’s initial Champions League group match against Inter Milan, Camavinga also came off the bench and provided the assist in Real Madrid’s game-winning score by Rodrygo.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti praised both Camavinga and Rodrygo for their performance against Inter Milan. In Camavinga’s case, for him to impress Ancelotti immediately is a great achievement. Furthermore, Camavinga and Rodrygo seem to have the potential of becoming an impressive “dynamic duo” for Los Blancos. It is too early for Camavinga to be declared as money well spent, but he is certainly on the right track.

Real Madrid will play three La Liga matches before playing their next Champions League group match. Camavinga is likely to remain on the bench to start for now, but that may change in the near future. Camavinga not only needs to continue to play well during games, but he needs to make an impact during training. He will need to drum up the necessary results to convince Ancelotti to make him a starter. In addition, impressive results will likely earn him a call-up for the French national team. Long story short, Camavinga must be on the top of his game at all times.

This Sunday, Real Madrid goes on the road to take on Valencia.
