Devin White Nominated for Rookie of the Week

Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Devin White has been nominated for Pepsi Rookie of the Week for Week 12 of the NFL season.

White tallied eight tackles including two for a loss along with two sacks in a 35-22 win over the Atlanta Falcons. White also had two quarterback hits to go along with his pair of sacks.

The fifth overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft has piled up 56 tackles, two sacks, four QB hits, two forced fumbles, and one pass breakup since returning from injury in Week 6.

This is the former LSU Tiger’s third standout performance in the last four weeks. White accumulated a career-high 13 tackles in week 11 against the New Orleans Saints and 12 tackles, two quarterback hits, and two forced fumbles against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 9.

Also nominated were fellow linebacker Cole Holcomb, running back Devin Singletary, and wide receivers A.J. Brown and Marquise Brown.
