Mooney has finally been getting some attention throughout the scouting community, and for good reason. For Mooney to succeed in the NFL, he will need to bulk up a bit to around 190. However, with that being said, Mooney is an extremely fast wide receiver who makes some acrobatic catches and gets separation on every single play.
As you can see below, my grading scale is out of 100 and is graded based on 10 skills: hands, contested catch, route running, release/separation, athleticism, speed, quickness/agility, yards after the catch, red-zone threat, and blocking.

He doesn’t just make open field catches, he can track the ball and can go up to get the ball. He can stop nearly instantly and jump to get the ball, which is rare for a very speedy wide receiver. |

Mooney isn’t just a vertical threat. He can run routes very well due to his very twitchy nature. |

If Mooney is one on one with a corner, he does a very good job fighting press with his own leverage and getting off it, which is surprising for a man of his stature. He also bursts off the line like no other. |

Mooney is fast, can jump high, and can make some very acrobatic catches. |

He is a very fast wide receiver, running a 4.38 40-yard dash. |
| Quickness/Agility

Mooney isn’t just a long speed guy either. He gets up to his top speed very early on in the play. |
| Yards After the Catch

He is very good after the catch. His speed combined with his loose hips makes it hard for defenders to tackle him. |

Although not much of a red-zone threat Mooney can still get up and compete in the red zone. |

This is Mooney’s worst area. Due to his thin build, he can not hold blocks for very long of block anyone besides a corner or thinner safety. |

Mooney might be the most slept on wide receiver in this class. I strongly believe that he will be successful after he bulks up. He lacks strength but makes up for it with his very twitchy play style. Mooney has a chance to develop and grow into a starting mismatch slot receiver.
