Corrigan’s Gambling Corner: Week Six

Daniel Corrigan| February 10th, 2020

2020 Record 12-12-1

My Picks:

2/11: Clippers (-1.5) vs Sixers

2/11: Celtics vs Rockets (-2)

2/11: Penn State vs Purdue (-5)

2/11: Nebraska (+17) vs Maryland

2/11: Red Wings vs Sabers (ML)

2/12: Kansas (-1.5) vs West Virginia

2/11: Clippers (-1.5) vs Sixers

When I first checked this in the morning it was Clippers -0.5. Which is an outrageous line for the Clippers. That literally just a money-line. The Sixers are in shambles and the Clippers are going to kick it into a new gear after the trade deadline.

2/11: Celtics vs Rockets (-2)

I like the Celtics this year. But I really like this Rockets team to win at home.

2/11: Penn State vs Purdue (-5)

Purdue is winning 83% of its games at home. They also have an average margin of victory at home of 23.8 points. Both teams are good, but I like Purdue to win this game pretty convincingly.

2/11: Nebraska (+17) vs Maryland

I absolutely do not care what the situation is. If the line is above 15 for the underdog, I’m taking it.

2/11: Red Wings vs Sabers (ML)

The Red Wings are so god damn bad at the sport of Hockey that I may pick them to lose every game forever.

2/12: Kansas (-1.5) vs West Virginia

I have always had the thought process that in college basketball, a -1.5 is almost like taking the money line. Teams don’t really win by just one point anymore. I like Kansas to win this game, and I would also take the money line, along with the -1.5.
