Corrigan’s Gambling Corner: Raiders vs Saints Best Bets

Drew Brees

Before we officially close the books on Week 2, we need to welcome the unavailing of the new Las Vegas Raiders stadium on Monday night football. For the weekend, my picks went 4-2, which brings my overall record to 11-5 for the football season.

This is free money at this point. You need to take advantage of this hot hand and bet (responsibly) on the Monday night game.

Spread: Saints -5.5

The Raiders are going to be a decent team this year. Josh Jacobs was a hell of a pick and is turning into one of the most dynamic playmakers in the league. However, the Saints are just that much better. Even without Michael Thomas, The Saints should win this game by a touchdown.

Point Total: O/48.5

The Raiders offense was impressive last week, although it was against the Panthers. The Saints feature one of the more dynamic running back duos in Alvin Kamara and Latavius Murray. In order to win this game, the Saints will have to get Drew Brees cooking, and he will do just that.

Prop of the Night: Drew Brees Over 1.5 Passing Touchdown

This is the game where Brees will take control of this Saints team. Can we please stop talking about Taysom Hill. Brees is their only shot at making another playoff run. Brees will take advantage of a weak and young Raiders secondary and will have his first big game of the year.

Gates Top NFL Team From Week 11 (2024)

Week 11 in the NFL brought more chaos, with at least five games on Sunday being decided by a single score. Notably, the Green Bay Packers and Indianapolis Colts won their games by just one point. As a result of their performance, the Buffalo Bills have earned the title of our NFL Team of the Week for the second time this season, having previously received this honor in Week 8.
