Hawks vs 76ers U/223.5

At this point, there is no telling how good the Hawks actually are. They came away with a win against the 76ers in Game 1 when the score was not indicative of how good the Hawks were. I am not comfortable taking the spread in this game because I really have no idea what to expect. What I do know is that the 76ers really tightened up on defense at the end and the Hawks had a hard time getting the ball past half-court. Look for the 76ers to come out with that same mentality on defense to start the game and keep this a low-scoring but tight game.

Clippers vs Jazz (-4)

There is just something in me that does not trust the Clippers. I know that they are good, but they almost seem lucky to have made it past the Mavericks in the first round. Not only that, but the Jazz have dominated the Clippers recently. In their last 10 matchups, the Jazz are 7-3 SU and 7-3 ATS. Also, the Jazz are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games. With the way that Donovan Mitchell is playing this postseason, we could be looking at a quick series here.

Lightning vs Hurricanes O/5.5

Both teams are in the top-10 in scoring offense, and they are both in the top-five in scoring on the power play. While the over has not been very profitable between these teams all season long, Carolina will need to keep up with the high-flying Tampa Bay offense to stay alive in this series. Tampa Bay (-120) is also a very interesting pick, but for now, we are going to trust one of the best offenses in hockey to step up in a do-or-die game.
