This week’s slate of college football games is subpar, but that does not mean we can’t find a whole host of prospects to look at in terms of NFL draft conversation. For the eighth week in a row, let’s go find five players who deserve some love.

Dorian Thompson-Robinson, QB, UCLA
Thompson-Robinson (otherwise known as DTR), isn’t getting tons of draft attention, but he could play a role in the NFL. The dual-threat quarterback has been efficient this year, with 13 touchdowns versus just two interceptions thrown. Against one of the best defenses in the country this week in the Oregon Ducks, DTR has a big opportunity for scouts to start realizing that he can contribute to their team. He could perhaps play in a Taysom Hill-type role at the least.
Jaylen Warren, RB, Oklahoma State
After exploding for 193 yards against Texas, Warren has jumped onto our radar. At 5’8″, he is a bit small to be a lead back in the NFL but could be a really nice third-down guy or gadget player. We’ll see how he can back it up this week against an Iowa State defense that is still very talented, despite their record.
Isaiah Likely, TE, Coastal Carolina
Likely actually takes the field tonight against Appalachian State in No. 14-ranked Coastal Carolina’s toughest matchup of the season. Likely has been getting some mid-round draft attention, but could be the best of the tight end prospects in this entire class. With 19 yards per reception and eight touchdowns to his ledger, he is a serious vertical threat who is also balanced with his blocking in the Chanticleers’ run-heavy scheme.
No. 14 Coastal Carolina takes on Appalachian State tonight at 7:30 p.m. EDT on ESPN2
Damone Clark, LB, LSU
Clark has quickly shot up to the leading tackler in the country spot. On an LSU defense that is extremely depleted, he will will be forced to play an even bigger role these coming weeks. If he can deal with this, he should garner some big-time attention in the draft world, just because he is always making plays on the field.
Jaylan Foster, DB, South Carolina
Foster has been a monster for a South Carolina defense that is mostly known for Kingsley Enagbare. However, Foster has four interceptions, two forced fumbles, and two sacks to his credit in the very versatile role that he is utilized for the team. Come draft time, NFL teams should love this guy’s ability to do everything, and a good performance against Texas A&M’s versatile receivers can get him an even bigger boost in his stock.
