The Boston Celtics pried the series’ momentum from the Wizards with an 123-101 win last night, proving that, yet again, this really is a “make-or-miss” league.
Jae Crowder struggled mightily from the field early on, but still managed to finish the game with 18 points. Isaiah too struggled finding his shot, finishing with 18 points on 38.5% shooting, coupled with nine dimes. Adversely, Al Horford scored 19 points on a remarkable 88.9% from the field, to go along blocking three shots and dishing out seven assists.

However, it was Avery Bradley that acted as the Celtics unstoppable spark plug, scoring 25 points in the first half and finishing the game with 29.
Like the previous two games in Washington, basketball fans were subjected to watch another horrific blowout, as opposed to the overtime thriller in Game No. 2. However, the Celtics finally rediscovered their frenetic brand of ball movement, spacing the floor and making all the right extra passes to turn good shots into great ones.
Now the Celtics have to fly back to Washington for Game No. 6, and considering the home team is 5-0 in this series thus far, it’s going to be nothing short of an uphill battle. Nonetheless, if the Celtics continue moving the ball without reckless abandonment, as well as playing great transition defense to force more Wizards turnovers, clinching the series in six would become a big possibility.
