San Antonio Spurs Mock Draft

The San Antonio Spurs are coming off a 48-34 campaign as the seven seed in the Western Conference. USWNT shines through group play and slanderous media commentary to clinch a spot in the knockout stage of the Women’s World Cup

Over the past week, the United States Women’s National Team (USWNT) has felt the sting of harsh media commentary concerning their FIFA Women’s World Cup debut victory over Thailand where they scored 13 goals, the most goals in a World Cup game in history. Some media personnel called the United States’ large margin victory and controversial, goal-accompanying celebrations as “disrespectful” “unnecessary” and “overkill”. The USWNT team tried to score as many goals as possible in order to create a cushion in goal differential for the days and games ahead.

Heisman Dark Horses

At the beginning of every season, college football experts and fans compile a short list of candidates for the Heisman Trophy. ACL Recovery -The Long Road Back

Klay Thompson suffered a torn ACL in the third quarter of game 6 of the NBA Finals Thursday night. This is just the latest in a long list of injuries suffered by the Golden State Warriors this season. This injury occurred just 3 days after Kevin Durant suffered a ruptured Achilles Tendon in Game 5.  The common issue in both of these injuries is that both players had recently returned from a different injury before suffering their more devastating injuries. Did the prior injury contribute to the new injury? Did the GSW medical staff doom the team because they cleared both Durant and Thompson to play? I am sure questions like these will make the rounds during this offseason.

While my praise of the Celtics proved to be excessive (I wasn’t the only one), this description of the Warriors’ dominance proved to be correct, although I did not envisage it being a literal one.
