Perhaps the biggest crown jewel in all of American motocross made its rightful return to fourth of July weekend this year. At this year’s RedBud National, some of the best racing in recent memory went down.

After just singing a year-long pact for 2021, Lewis Hamilton has officially agreed to a new two-year contract with Mercedes-AMG Petronas Racing.

Another domino in this year’s NASCAR silly season fell on Tuesday afternoon, and it is a gigantic one. Justin Marks and street hop artist Pitbull’s upstart Trackhouse Racing Team has purchased all assets of Chip Ganassi Racing’s NASCAR team.

Despite the 2022 Supercross tilt being over six months out, a major piece of news just dropped. The FΓ©dΓ©ration Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) announced that their agreement with Supercross’s parent company, FELD Entertainment, will not continue into 2022.

After a year off the schedule, the Matterlay Basin circuit in Winchester, England returned to the FIM World Motocross Championship. The MX2 Class would be hit with a major pre-event injury that has now put a major surprise in the points lead. As well as Tim Gasjer putting on a superb charge in MXGP Moto 2, would ultimately not result in an Overall GP Win. Losing out to one of Motocross’s all-time greats in Antonio Cairoli. One of the bigger moves for next year’s NASCAR season is reportedly set in stone. After over a decade at Team Penske, 2012 Cup Series champion Brad Keselowski is now expected to move to Roush Fenway Racing.

Hendrick Motorsports’ Kyle Larson is in the midst of one of the most dominant runs that the NASCAR Cup Series has seen in the last decade. Dating back to May 9 in Darlington, he has finished no worse than second place, Led 915 out of a possible 1,806 laps, and now has won three consecutive races.

For what is now the third race in a row, a Team Penske driver had a chance to win a race. Once again, failed to find one of their four cars in victory lane, and again it was in soul-crushing fashion. Despite some threat of scattered storms a few days out, the racing on Saturday at High Point went by without much if any inclement weather. Headlines included a first-time 250 National winner.
