Carolina vs. Boston…here we go again. Last spring, the Carolina Hurricanes campaign came to an end when they were swept (4-0) at the hands of the Boston Bruins in the Eastern Conference Finals. Fast-forward 15 months and the two teams are scheduled to lock horns, once again, in the first round of the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs in what promises to be a scintillating encounter. So just what can we expect this time around between two evenly-matched, well-coached teams? Let’s read on and find out.

It finally appears that one of the four major sports will be making its long-awaited return this summer. The NHL is in the process of putting all the necessary pieces in place to crown a Stanley Cup Championship. To conclude the 2019-2020 season the League will put together a 24 Team Tournament. They will forgo the approximate 12 games most teams had remaining. The best four teams in each Conference will get free passes to start in the next round(round of 16). When the puck dropped on the 2019-20 campaign back in October (which seemed like ages ago), few around the hockey world pegged the New York Rangers to be playing in the Stanley Cup playoffs. Nine months later and the Blueshirts find themselves locking horns with the Carolina Hurricanes in a best-of-five showdown which kicks off this weekend.

With the NHL playoffs approaching, the Boston Bruins are counting on their secondary lines and younger players to be the difference-makers in the scoring column.

The Montreal Canadiens are among a handful of teams who have been given a “second wind” due to this summer’s expanded postseason. Regardless of the circumstances, the Habs find themselves playoff-bound for the first time since 2016-17. Their opponents? Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, Kris Letang, and the high-flying Pittsburgh Penguins.

In just over a week’s time, the puck will drop on the 2020 playoffs amidst a four-and-a-half month pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Toronto Maple Leafs are slated to lock horns with the pesky Columbus Blue Jackets. We all know that the Leafs are top-heavy with talent with the likes of Auston Matthews, John Tavares, William Nylander, Morgan Rielly, and Mitch Marner leading the charge.

The 2019-20 National Hockey League season is back on. The best part is that the New York Rangers are in the 24-Team Stanley Cup Playoff Bracket. With a best-of-five series against the Carolina Hurricanes looming, many questions are circulating around this young team. The biggest question of them all is if this young team is sustainable enough to make it past Carolina. Just how far can this team go?

The Seattle hockey franchise has released an epic name and fabulous color scheme.
