The 2019 Bears season can be summed up by your choice of two words – disappointing failure or regression bug. Following the 2018 season, hopes were high. The Bears had a dominating defense and a progressing young offense with an offensive-minded coaching guru to navigate the ship. That was until all of those aforementioned positives took a step back this season. With an 8-8 record and third-place finish in the NFC North, it’s safe to say the Bears didn’t live up to the hype. However, there were some positives, along with some things to look forward to. Let’s take a look at what happened, the plan this offseason, and the expectations for next year.

Andersen Pickard previews the Super Bowl and examines what the San Francisco 49ers must do to win a ring.
This season was an up and down year for Los Angeles Rams’ running back Todd Gurley, to say the least. Gurley in recent years has always been in the conversation of best running back in the NFL. Particularly, because of his multi-faceted game and skillset. However, this season such chatter diminished for quite a few reasons.

Mike Ursery looks back at the five greatest comebacks in Super Bowl history.

Alex Haarmeyer shares a list of the craziest bets you can place ahead of Super Bowl LIV.

Hall of Fame defensive end Chris Doleman passed away on Wednesday after a battle with brain cancer, writes Joe Heller.

Liz Pendergraft explores the ultimate test of strength and dominance with a preview of what the Kansas City Chiefs must accomplish in order to win Super Bowl LIV:

Over the years, there have been classic games and some that are snoozers. What fans remember the most about the Super Bowl is the performances of the players on the field. These players were game changers and carried their teams to Super Bowl titles.

A potentially alarming situation could be developing in Dallas as Dak Prescott’s injury is so severe that he cannot throw a football.

Peter King reported he believes the Tampa Bay Buccaneers could be in play for Tom Brady.

The Carolina Panthers and tight end Greg Olsen have mutually agreed to part ways, writes Celeste Sabin.
