2021 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Tre Brown
Cornerbacks are at a premium in this year’s NFL Draft. With several expected to go in the first few rounds, Tre Brown could be a player that gets called on in the latter half of the draft.

It is well known that the defensive line class in the 2021 draft isn’t great or even good. USC is providing two solid prospects in Jay Tufele and Marlon Tuipulotu. The lesser-known prospect, Tuipulotu, has a chance to be selected on the second day of the draft. With the class lacking many impact players, he could be pushed up the board more expected.
This NFL Draft is this week and in honor of the festive (Christmas-like) event, I’ve created a Big Board of the top 100 players. The list takes into account the talent, positional value, and upside of the player.
In a class with all different types of hybrid and new-generation linebackers, Tony Fields II is a linebacker who is not getting talked about enough. Fields is more of a traditional middle linebacker who does everything fairly well.
Trey Smith has been one of the premier offensive linemen since high school. The former five-star recruit has had a consistently solid tenure at the University of Tennessee. Everything appears to be there—the size, the power, the dominance—so the real question remains: is it worth taking a shot, given Smith’s medical record? Let’s find out.
In one of the worst defensive line classes in memory, there are some names that are noticeably sticking out. One of them is Alim McNeill from NC State. McNeill was a running back and linebacker in high school before adding about 50 pounds to his frame to become a nose tackle for the Wolfpack. There are a few things that stick out immediately when watching him, and those are his power and strength.
Coxie played two games in the 2020 season before opting out and declaring for the NFL draft. His 2018 and 2019 seasons were impressive as he put up 72 catches for 1,174 yards and seven touchdowns in 2018, and 76 catches for 1,276 yards for nine touchdowns in 2019. He’s not going to be a burner with his speed but he has the size and wingspan to be a contested catch/big body receiver at the NFL level. Coxie has shown production throughout his college career and has play-making skills some NFL teams will covet.
Carlos Basham Jr. is being mocked all over the place, and for good reason. He’s one of the most polarizing players to scout in this draft class. There are some real inconsistencies, paired with some serious flashes of a special player.
The NFL Draft is less than a week away, and teams are making their final pre-draft trades and finalizing who they plan to pick. Let’s take a look at who each team could draft with their first-round picks (no trades).
The pride of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Benjamin St-Juste looks to become yet another Canadian NFL prospect to go early in the NFL Draft. He looks to join former secondary partner Antoine Winfield Jr as the next of PJ Fleck’s players to hit the professional ranks.

The TCU defense is known for having one of the best, if not the best secondary in all of college football. he unsung hero on the defense is Garret Wallow. He started his career as a safety but made the transition to linebacker following his freshman season. Wallow made the most of his pro day and is now looking to make noise at the next level.
