The NFL was hoping for a stronger class in the 2022 class than they did in 2021. Unfortunately, that may not be the case. While there are two standouts in Demarvin Leal and Jordan Davis, there is a significant drop after those two. Now, Davis sets his sights on the NFL Draft, where he could be picked within the top 20 picks.
Bowl games are now officially in the books, and that means that film for every player in college football on all but two teams is ready to be evaluated. One player involved in a big-time bowl game last week was Baylor’s, Jalen Pitre.
The Cincinnati Bearcats have been everyone’s favorite story this college football season. Their defense has a lot to be proud of this season, but while guys like Ahmad Gardner and Coby Bryant have received their fair share of recognition, Darrian Beavers has flown under the radar.
We are still early in the NFL Draft process but players are starting to pop out that we haven’t necessarily gotten wind of before. One of these guys is Wyoming’s Chad Muma.
The college football landscape always finds different ways to use players. Derion Kendrick played quarterback in high school, went to Clemson to play receiver, and ended up playing cornerback for Clemson and now Georgia. The Georgia cornerback has quite the crowd hyping him up on draft Twitter, so let’s see if is warranted.
The NFL season is almost over, meaning the draft order is almost set. Well, besides the middle of the order that is. The Jaguars are on the clock.
Daxton Hill has been one of the best players in college football since he arrived on campus at Michigan. As a former five-star recruit from Oklahoma and the seventh-ranked player in the nation, it is no surprise that the Wolverine’s safety is in the conversation as a first-round selection for April’s draft.
The 2022 NFL Draft is loaded with star receivers that have been on our radar since they entered college. On the other hand, we have Purdue’s David Bell who was a four-star recruit coming out of high school and was masked a bit under the likes of Rondale Moore while playing for the Boilermakers
Each year, there seems to be a player that surprises and becomes a top prospect in the pre-draft process. While there isn’t a quarterback that has rose his stock like that this year, there is an edge rusher that has. His name is David Ojabo, who never played football before his junior year of high school after moving from Nigeria to Scotland early in his childhood.
Ikem Ekwonu, the former three-star recruit, has had an outstanding career at NC State. Ekwonu is also one of the more intriguing prospects in this class because of the ongoing debate over what position he should play at the next level.
Week 15 is now officially in the books, which means it’s time for another NFL mock draft. Here, there are some surprises, but the predictable picks will be made on par as they have been for most of the year.
