Miami had the lead throughout the game, with the exception of the start of the second quarter. They then went on a 20-0 run in the third quarter to pull away. The win puts Miami’s record to 3-3 for the season.

A sigh of relief washed over Steph Curry at the end of the Warriors 129-128 win over the Chicago Bulls. After starting 0-2 against the high powered Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks, Golden State notched their first win of the season on a buzzer-beater from Damion Lee.
There’s no better way to celebrate Christmas than with a Miami Heat win, especially against a talented young New Orleans Pelicans team. The Pelicans started this game off strong. They even cut an eventual Miami 23-point lead to six in the fourth quarter. However, Miami went on a 18-7 run to close the game with a win, their first of the new season. With all that said, here are four takeaways from Friday’s win over New Orleans.
