Simply inexcusable. The Miami Heat had a chance to back up Saturday’s home win over the Cleveland Cavaliers with a road win. They were on their way to doing that with a 22 point lead heading into the fourth period. But then, they lost the fourth quarter and eventually lost the game in Overtime. Now, Miami finds itself 13-18 on the road and only 1/2 game up over the Philadelphia 76ers for the fourth seed.

Grant Angelo breaks down four NBA players poised for a breakout second half.
On what was a special night, the Miami Heat came out victorious over the shorthanded Cleveland Cavaliers. The Heat opened the game on an 11-2 run converting their first four attempts. After leading by single digits in the first period, the Heat pushed their lead to 30 by halftime. From there, they never looked back. Miami is now 23-3 at home.
Here are my takeaways from the Heat’s win over the Cavaliers.
