I am back for another episode as I bring on Joey Ricotta to look back on the biggest things that happened on this day in baseball history! We talked about Kris Bryant making his major league debut, Ubaldo Jimenez pitching the Rockies first no-hitter, Thurman Munson being named captain of the Yankees and more!

The University of Cincinnati was greeted with two talented transfers this week.
Since there are no sports we have to find something to do. So, we decided to do an all-time baseball draft.
Despite no baseball being played, baseball celebrates the legacy and memories of the man who broke the color barrier today. On the 73rd anniversary of Jackie Robinson’s Major League debut, MLB and all its players, fans, journalists, announcers, and others celebrate this special day online. Throughout the day, MLB’s social media pages and MLB Network will be streaming and televising games that occurred on this day and involving Robinson, finishing it off with a stream of the 1955 World Series Robinson and the Dodgers were in. That was when his famous steal of home occurred with Yogi Berra behind the plate (who until his last breath fully believed he tagged him out).

I am joined by me, myself, and I again to look back on this day in baseball history. I talk about Barry Bonds passing his Godfather on the all-time home run list to be by himself in third place, Chipper Jones joining some legendary switch-hitting company, and Pete Rose getting a couple big hit milestones 21 years apart.
Joey Ricotta joins me again as we talk about Barry Bonds joining his Godfather Willie Mays for third on the all-time home run list. Lou Gehrig becomes Captain, Candlestick Park opens up, and much more.
To look back on this day in baseball history, I brought on Joey Ricotta this time to talk about a few debuts including Carl Yastrzemski’s Major League debut and the debut of shin guards being used by a catcher.
I am joined again by Johnnie Black to look back in today in baseball history. On this day, Ken Griffey Jr. hit two milestone home runs on his father Ken Griffey Sr.’s birthday, the color barrier was broken as Jackie Robinson was signed by the Brooklyn Dodgers, and the Tampa Bay Devil Rays had “More Cowbell”.
I bring on Joey Ricotta as we look back on This Day In Baseball History. We talk about five parks that opened up on this date, including the “Eighth Wonder of the World” in the Astrodome, Nolan Ryan still being dominant at 46, and the life and career of Willie Stargell, or “Pops”.
