Welcome back in DFSer’s. We have a nice 12 game slate on the docket tonight. Two teams who have caught the winning bug meet in Tampa. The Capitals are home to the Senators, the Flyers try to nab a victory on the road at Carolina and the Colorado Avalanche continue their road trip in New York. Let’s dive right in and try our hand at some Ice Picks!
The end of the football regular season always brings me a mixture of emotions. On one hand, I’m sad and depressed that the season is already over. On the other hand, the playoffs are underway and we are now getting closer to the best and most anticipated football games of the season. As YOU are anticipating, let’s stop rambling and get to the picks for this potentially wild, Wild Card Round.
The NFL playoffs are officially here. What better way to get things started than a showdown slate. The AFC South division champions, Houston Texans, host the Buffalo Bills. Both teams were able to rest players last week because they were locked into there playoff seeding. With both teams coming in fresh, here are my top players and game predictions for this playoff matchup.
A couple of hot teams lead the way along with a couple powerhouse teams in favorable matchups for this Saturday’s edition of Ice Picks. The Maple Leafs and Canucks are stringing together wins like nobody’s business while the Lightning and Avalanche look to pounce on teams of a lesser caliber. Time to grind and dig, time to make some Ice Picks!
Happy new year! Hopefully, 2019 has been profitable in the world of DFS. Let’s keep working on building winning lineups for 2020! New year’s eve has a good offering of games to choose from, finding players may be a bit of a chore as there are multiple ways to target this slate. My attention is focused on the red-hot St.Louis Blues in Arizona, Calgary hosting the Blackhawks, Tampa at Buffalo and the Panthers visiting the injury-riddled Blue Jackets. 2020 here we come! Welcome back to the GPP/Tournament Plays article for Week 17. Let’s start by saying, any picks used or mentioned for cash games can be played in tournaments. I think that’s an important thing to know and can sometimes get confused whenever the two are mentioned separately. For that reason, I’ve tried to avoid mentioning my cash game plays for this article.
The football regular season is all but over. Welcome to the final week of the regular season where things get preseason-ish and downright wacky. The plan needs to be attacking players who we feel will have solidified roles, as many teams will be resting its starters for the postseason, or seeing what they have out of some of their youngsters for next year.
Happy Holidays Puck Lovers! Hopefully everyone is enjoying some sort of holiday break. The NHL returns to action with a full schedule of 11 games Friday after a brief hiatus for Christmas. Of all the games, we are targeting the Maple Leafs at New Jersey, Columbus at Washington, the Hurricanes at the New York Rangers and the Vegas Golden Knights visiting the Anaheim Ducks. Let’s dig out the sticks and gloves and make some Ice Picks!
With the Los Angeles Rams losing on Saturday night, the Minnesota Vikings are locked into the playoffs. However, they could still win and move into the 1st wild card spot or even win the NFC North with some help. The Green Bay Packers are still alive for a first-round bye. Here are my top players and game predictions for tonight’s final Monday Night Football game.

This is a special slate as it is the only Saturday this season with NFL regular season games on. There are three games on this slate. The first game is going to be an offensive masterpiece with the Houston Texans going into Tampa Bay to face the Buccaneers. The second game is going to be a defensive masterpiece with the Buffalo Bills heading into Foxboro to take on the New England Patriots. Last but not least the third game is an NFC West battle between the Los Angeles Rams and the San Francisco 49ers. Below are my top players and game predictions for all three games.
