The Buffalo Bills earned their 10th victory this season after defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night, clinching the playoffs for the second time since 2000.
Although the Bills survived a 17-10 battle, the defense dominated with passion. Devlin “Duck” Hodges threw four interceptions and the Steelers fumbled at the Bills’ 10-yard line.
After the horrific performance, the Steelers will debate who to start next week, but for now, the Bills defense seems elite.
The patience of Tremaine Edmunds and two interceptions from Tre’Davious White proved the Steelers’ offense has problems.
Due to the forceful defense, the Duck Dynasty is on the brink of collapsing. Plus, the Steelers rely on winning out or praying for multiple teams to lose out if they want their playoff hopes to survive.
Despite a powerful defense, the Bills’ offense completed an average performance. Quarterback Josh Allen struggled but a late push from Devin Singletary gave the Bills enough push.
Bills receiver John Brown torched the Steelers’ defense again. The nightmare for the defense has blown through the Steelers for years and did it again. With seven receptions for 99 yards, he led the game with the most receptions and most yards from scrimmage.
The Bills (10-4) sneakily hide one game behind the Patriots. With two games left, including one against the Patriots, if the Bills win out, they can take the AFC East for the first time in decades.
The Steelers (8-6) hold on to the No. 6 seed by a thread. A win against the Jets next week and a hopeful loss to the Titans will place them one step closer to sneaking into the playoffs.
