The Tampa Bay Buccaneers sustained multiple injuries in Sunday’s loss to the Seattle Seahawks, precipitating multiple roster moves on Tuesday.
Per Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, the team placed tight end Antony Auclair on Injured Reserve, ultimately ending his season.
To make room for the signing of Sam Acho, the #GoBucs placed TE Antony Auclair on injured reserve with a foot injury he sustained vs. Seattle.

The team expects fellow tight end O.J. Howard to return to action this Sunday. “O.J. should be ready to roll this week and we should get him back,” said head coach, Bruce Arians.
In a corresponding move, the team signed veteran pass rusher Sam Acho. After the Buccaneers’ outside linebacker group was also struck by injury on Sunday with both Carl Nassib and Anthony Nelson leaving the game, the Acho signing provides security should either Nassib or Nelson be unavailable for an extended period of time.
The news was broken by his younger brother, Emmanuel Acho, on Twitter.
Breaking News: The @Buccaneers have signed @theSamAcho to a 1 year deal. Reuniting him with his old coach, Bruce Arians.
Y’all might not care, but he’s my brother and going on year 9, so it’s pretty amazing!
Checkmate, @AdamSchefter lol.

Acho was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in 2011 and played there under Arians in 2014 and 2015. He most recently appeared in four games with the Chicago Bears in 2018.
