In a shocking turn of events, New England Patriots wide receiver Eric Decker has announced his retirement.

The former Bronco and Jet made the announcement in a lengthy Instagram post thanking the fans.

Decker was picked in the third round at pick No.87 in the 2010 NFL Draft and finished his career with 439 receptions for 5,816 yards and 54 touchdowns.
