Breaking: Patriots Make Trade

After much buzz circulating around the New England Patriots making a trade, they finally do swapping picks for San Francisco tackle Trent Brown.

Albert Breer was one of the reporters on Twitter to announce the move.

The Patriots reportedly get the starting tackle and pick No.143 while giving the 49ers pick No.95.

Brown as stated in a previous article was picked in the seventh round at pick No. 244 in the 2015 NFL Draft who impressed Super Bowl 50 MVP Von Miller early on with his play in training camp last year.

“He’s the best right tackle in the National Football League,” Miller said at joint practices last August. “And he may even be a top-five tackle, period.”

Brown is a mammoth of a man at 6-foot-8 and will add the much needed experience needed on the offensive line for exponentially less money.

The acquisition of the Florida alum makes him the second lineman the Patriots acquired in less than 24 hours after drafting Georgia guard Isaiah Wynn with pick No.23.
