Breaking: Lions Select Jeffrey Okudah At No. 3

One of the biggest Draft Day questions was answered early on Friday night, as the Detroit Lions hung on to their pick to select cornerback Jeffrey Okudah.

Okudah burst onto the scene in 2019, really flying up draft boards by collecting three interceptions and a forced fumble in 13 games.

Perhaps a rather shocking decision, as Detroit was rumored to be potentially looking to shop the No. 3 overall pick. However, the Lions had just traded veteran defensive back Darius Slay to the Philadelphia Eagles, so acquiring the best cover cornerback in the draft.

The NFL Draft is in full swing, so be sure to stay tuned for updates.
