In a separate trade, the Los Angeles Dodgers have traded Joc Pederson, Ross Stripling and 19-year-old outfield prospect Andy Pages to the Angels in exchange for Luis Rengifo and another couple significant prospects.

With the acquisition of Betts and Price, the outfield is a logjam, making guys like Stripling and Pederson expendable. It is hard to envision Rengifo carving out a starting role on a loaded Dodgers team, but nun the less he is a talented piece.
The Angels will now be able to hold back top prospect Jo Adell to get more seasoned in the minors. They also would replace the loss of Kole Calhoun and add another big bat but this time a lefty hitter to help balance their lineup. Pages immediately jumps into the higher ranks of the Halo’s farm and has great power. He was signed out of Cuba for only $300K.
