The National Women Hockey League’s Boston Pride announced Thursday that they have partnered with the Boston Bruins.
The partnership will advance the game of women’s hockey not only in Massachusetts but throughout the surrounding region.
In addition, the Bruins announced a new Bruins Academy Girls Learn to Play program for girls ages four through ten. Registration opens Jan. 31 and can be accessed here.
Members of the Pride attended the Bruins-Capitals game in celebration of the partnership.
Saturday’s game against the Minnesota Whitecaps will be the Pride’s first game with the partnership. The first 500 fans will receive a free cobranded Pride and Bruins beanie, and Bruins mascot Blades will be dropping the ceremonial puck drop.
Tickets can be purchased here.
Warrior Ice Arena, the home of the Pride and the practice rink of the Boston Bruins, announced that Billy Jaffe will be hosting a Women’s Hockey Camp this summer. For more information and details about the camp, follow Jaffe on Twitter.
