Spencer Long was released by the New York Jets a week ago and found a new home today, signing a three-year deal with the Buffalo Bills.
Long has the versatility to play both guard positions and center which will come in handy for the Bills, with both Ryan Groy and John Miller set to hit free agency. Long started and played in 13 games last year for the Jets, bouncing between left guard and center. Long’s signing comes after general manager Brandon Beane and head coach Sean McDermott talked about wanting to upgrade the team’s offensive line this off-season.
Lafayette Pitts played a reserve role for the Bills last season playing in all 16 games mostly on special team. He has officially been re-signed by the team.
