Bill Belichick is a phenomenal coach. Everyone knows that. But a win today would put him in a category only two coaches in the history of the NFL have ever reached.
Bill Belichick is sitting on 299 career wins including playoffs and could become the third member of the 300-win club today. Belichick won his first game as head coach with the Browns and could, fittingly, win his 300th against Cleveland. pic.twitter.com/2HKIng0jkP

300 wins is an incredible accomplishment. To be among the names of George Halas and Don Shula is an achievement Belichick probably covets. Being such a student of the game, he knows how tough wins are to come by in this league. But that will be the last thing on the coach’s mind come kickoff time up in Foxboro.
And the fact that this win would be coming against the Cleveland Browns is almost poetic. The team Belichick started his head coaching career with could also be the team he makes history against.
Will the Patriots vault Belichick into legendary status yet again? We’ll find out at 4:25 p.m. up in Gillette Stadium?.
One thing is for certain though. This historic win would be another notch on a future first ballot Hall of Fame belt for Bill Belichick.
