New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick came to the podium for his annual press conference that lasted less than five minutes.
Belichick walked up and told the press that he would not be adding further detail to the situation and said the team was focusing on Miami.
He was asked by reporters if the team knows any new developments and information.
“We’ll let you know when we know more,” Belichick said on the situation.
Reporters then brought the fans into the discussion asking the head coach if he thought they had the right to know what was going on.
“When we know more we’ll say more,” Belichick said.
Reporters still hammered home what they were interested in. Antonio Brown and his status for practice.
“Will Antonio Brown be at practice today,” a reporter asked. Belichick responded with a simple, ‘Yes.’
When asked about whether Brown would play on Sunday, Belichick came back with another simple answer.
“We are taking it one day at a time.”
It is at this point where the coach told reporters that the team read the scouting report on the Dolphins this morning and said that is all they were focused on.
“Anything on Miami,” the coach asked reporters.
The Antonio Brown questions kept coming.
“Look I appreciate the questions, but we are going to focus on Miami,” he said again.
The reporters came back again about Brown.
“Look I’m done with that, anything else on Miami,” the coach asked.
That is when Belichick ended his press conference. It lasted four minutes and three seconds.
Brown, Belichick and the Patriots are practicing today getting ready to face Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Dolphins on Sunday at 1 p.m.
