New York Yankees 2020 Season Preview

The Yankees fell just short of getting back to the World Series in 2019, falling to the Houston Astros in six games in the American League Championship Series. During the regular season, they put up their second straight 100-win season, going 103-59 and rolling to their first American League East Championship since 2012. They ran right through the Minnesota Twins in the American League Division Series, sweeping them in three games, 10-4, 8-2, and 5-1.

Eagles Sign Cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman

The Philadelphia Eagles are further adding to their cornerback depth, as they signed former Los Angeles Rams and Buffalo Bills nickel cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman to a one-year deal on Wednesday. Josina Anderson from ESPN had the news first, saying that Robey-Coleman texted her he was signing there.

Eagles Sign Will Parks

The Eagles made a pair of moves on Saturday, one of them being signing former Denver Broncos safety Will Parks to a one-year deal. This deal helps them work towards replacing former defensive captain Malcolm Jenkins, who they let walk in free agency.

Looking Back at Malcolm Jenkins' Eagles Career

The Philadelphia Eagles decided to let Malcolm Jenkins walk, not paying him the money he wanted. On Wednesday, Jenkins signed back with the team that drafted him, the New Orleans Saints for four years, $32 million with $16.5 million guaranteed. Jenkins obviously would have helped the Eagles this year, but they were more worried about the last year or two of a four year deal. At the end of the deal he will be turning 36, and he could start to lose his swagger; the Eagles also want to get younger.

Eagles Make Splash for Slay

The Philadelphia Eagles, on Thursday morning, got the help they need at the cornerback by acquiring Darius Slay from the Lions. The Eagles sent a 2020 third-round pick and a fifth-round pick to the Detroit Lions, and agreed to a three-year, $50 million extension with $30 million guaranteed.
