Sometimes in fantasy football, the most obvious tips are often not taken. Instead of going for a high-floor player, players chase options with high-upside that could potentially wreck their week. The most consistent players in fantasy football are often overlooked and don’t get appreciated as much as they should. Marvin Jones is the perfect example of this.
Every year there seem to be a few tight ends that have a breakout season. In 2018 it was George Kittle and last year it was Mark Andrews and Darren Waller. This year there is a couple of intriguing options but one seems to rise above the rest that has the highest ceiling. Hayden Hurst was shipped from Baltimore to Atlanta during the offseason and will be the topic of conversation today. He is currently the 110th player off the board as the TE13.
The 2020 NFL Draft featured a plethora of intriguing options at the running back position and even included a first-round selection. Unfortunately for this year though, most of those running backs are being featured in a committee instead of being labeled as the bell-cow back.
The 2019 season seemed to be over before it even began for the Indianapolis Colts. During the preseason, Andrew Luck shocked the sports world as he retired, leaving Indianapolis and general manager Chris Ballard looking for answers.
Mason Thompson explains why you should avoid selecting Colts running back Jonathan Taylor in your upcoming fantasy football draft.
The Packers came into the 2019 season with a bunch of question marks. The team finally moved on from Mike McCarthy and was now led by Matt LaFleur. While the offense endured many growing pains during the season, the new and improved defense shouldered the load behind their three key free-agent additions in Preston and ZaDarius Smith and Adrian Amos. The Packers went 13-3 led by a record of 8-1 in one-score games and made the playoffs as the second seed. While in the playoffs, they secured another close victory over Seattle before getting demolished by San Francisco in the NFC Championship Game.
We are less than a month away from the start of the 2020 NFL season. With that being said, fantasy drafts are aplenty currently as fans are ready to finally watch some football and play against friends and family to potentially win their fantasy leagues. During your fantasy drafts, some players will elect to take a tight end early, while others tend to lean on high-upside players. I will be taking the latter half approach in this article and will be talking about Miami’s Mike Gesicki, who is currently being selected as the TE15 and 123rd player overall according to the Fantasy Pros PPR ADP.
It’s August, meaning fantasy football drafts are happening on every platform and everyone thinks that they know more than anyone else. With the season around the corner, some players look back to last year to see how players played. If you’re like those people, then Jared Goff is off of your draft board. Fortunately, some analysts look deeper into the scope of his season which I will do today. Instead of telling you to not draft him though, I’m telling you to draft Goff. According to Fantasy Pros PPR ADP, Goff is being selected as the QB18 and the 140th player off the board overall.
Before Friday came around, all eyes were on Derrius Guice being the lead-man in Washington’s backfield. After tearing his ACL in his rookie year, Guice tore his meniscus in week one of the regular season but returned to get injured once again. Now, his problems have continued but this time they are off the field. He was charged with strangulation, assault and battery, as well as the destruction of property. Shortly after finding out this news, the Washington Football Team decided to release the injury-prone back. With Guice now out of the picture, the backfield takes a bit of a turn fantasy-wise. I’ll go through each option in the backfield and include their current ADP.
Every NFL offseason is different from one another. Of course, the pandemic we’re currently in makes this offseason one of the most complicated in history. This year’s draft was different than any other. There are some key free agents are still on the market due to the situation we’re currently in. Typically, each team goes through training camp, practices, and four preseason games before cuts occur. This year though, there are no preseason games. While this doesn’t affect the starters, it drastically affects rookies and bottom-tier players on the roster, especially undrafted free agents.
Once again, yet another potential first-round prospect for the 2021 draft has opted out. This time, it’s Purdue wide receiver, Rondale Moore. Moore follows fellow
