The Miami Heat took on Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks on Monday.
The Nets kept it close last night. But in the end, the Heat pulled away with the victory. With the win, Miami moves to 37-20 for the season. Here are my takeaways from Saturday’s win over Brooklyn.

The Miami Heat entered Monday’s game against the Boston Celtics without Jimmy Butler, Kyle Lowry, and P.J. Tucker. The game went about as well as you’d expect.
What a game. Trailing by double-digits entering the fourth quarter, the Miami Heat looked worn out against the Toronto Raptors. The shooting was not there and Jimmy Butler was getting little support. Then the Heat made a run and tied the game.
In the end, the Heat were able to hold off the Clippers with clutch plays from P.J. Tucker and late-game free throws from Jimmy Butler. With the win, Miami moves to 32-17 for the season.
This game was not close at all. The Miami Heat took care of business early by jumping out to a double-digit lead.
The Houston Rockets are expected to be one of the more active teams at the trade deadline. Forward Christian Wood is among players the Rockets are considering moving. There are plenty of teams who are interested in pursuing Wood. One of those teams appears to be the Miami Heat.
