The Kansas City Chiefs were heavy favorites going into today’s game against the Carolina Panthers. However, Carolina had other plans and made this one a nailbiter till the end. But, Kansas City managed to escape with their eighth win of the season after holding on to beat the Panthers 33-31.
The now 4-3 Miami Dolphins are headed out west to the desert to take on the 5-2 Arizona Cardinals. The Dolphins are coming off an impressive Week 8 win against the Los Angeles Rams. Meanwhile, the Cardinals are coming off a bye week and are also currently on an impressive three-game win streak.
The New York Jets had little hope going into this week to grab their first win finally. That sliver of hope was lost by halftime against the Kansas City Chiefs as the reigning Super Bowl champions handled the Jets with ease in this one.
In their title defense season, the Kansas City Chiefs are off to a hot start sitting at 6-1. The Chiefs only loss came to the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 5. However, outside of that one day, the Chiefs have been dominant and aren’t in any dire need to make a move here at the trade deadline.
The winless New York Jets travel to Arrowhead Stadium to take on the 6-1 Kansas City Chiefs. The Jets are still seeking their first victory of the season, while the Chiefs look to build off an impressive Week 7 win over the Denver Broncos.
As another week of the NFL season has passed, it’s time to look back and see which rookies were able to outperform the rest. It’s time for the Week 7 NFL rookie rankings. This week’s list features not just one but two tight ends who made their mark last weekend.
The Kansas City Chiefs re-asserted their dominance over the AFC West by going into Mile High and running away with a massive win over the Denver Broncos. Some thought this game could be close with several Broncos returning from injury and some offensive struggles for the Chiefs.
It was an offensive onslaught in Week 6 for the NFL rookies. This past week had five skill position players surpass 100 yards from scrimmage, and the rookie cornerback class is starting to earn its stripes as the league nears the midway point.
Too many people’s surprise, the Chicago Bears find themselves at a 5-1 record after beating the Carolina Panthers in Week 6. The Bears defense continued to dominate as the Panthers struggled to find consistency on offense allowing the Bears to sneak away with a win in this one.
The Atlanta Falcons finally scored their first win of the season against the Minnesota Vikings. This game was expected to be a high-scoring affair. However, the point margin that the Falcons were able to put up against the Vikings was not.
The winless Atlanta Falcons (0-5) are headed north to take on the Minnesota Vikings (1-4). Neither of these teams is where they had hoped to be at this point in the season.
Week 5 was an offensive clinic for the rookies. Giving flashbacks to Week 1 of last season, three pass catchers surpassed the 100-yard mark this past weekend.
