It was another cellar year for the Broncos as they finished with the lowest record in the AFC West at 5-11. The 2020 season was defined by injuries to top players and a developing offense that faced a few too many obstacles to overcome. That said, notice a lot of these picks are focused on getting the defense younger going forward.
I don’t think there’s ever been a time where you could ever put the Denver Nuggets into the conversation for winning the trade deadline. Well, this year, they are firmly in that conversation, if not the front runner.
We can argue whether there should be an All-Star game this year until the dogs come home. Numerous players, including the big names such as LeBron James, have openly spoken out against having an All-Star game amidst a pandemic in which over 30 games have been postponed or rescheduled.
Let’s just say this year in Denver Broncos history was an experience. Chalk up another losing season, their fourth straight, and another year that leaves fans with questions at the most critical spots. With a 5-11 record, finishing at the bottom of the AFC West, it still weirdly feels like the Broncos are closer than their record shows.
After a whirlwind of an offseason, the NBA is already back and raring to go. The Denver Nuggets are less than three months removed from their final game of last season against the Los Angeles Lakers and have seen many things change.

It’s been a long two years for Bol Bol, son of former NBA center Manute Bol. In his only season at the University of Oregon, he only appeared in nine games before breaking his foot, which caused him to miss the rest of the season. He entered the draft as a potential top talent with injury history. His stock fell. He ended up getting selected by the Denver Nuggets with the 44th pick. He now becomes a part of a great problem for the Nuggets, as they have too many mouths to feed at the center position. Also, missing time to continue rehabbing his foot.
Last year the Denver Broncos took a big step forward in their “rebuild.” They found their potential franchise quarterback in Drew Lock, their definitive number one receiver in Courtland Sutton, and showed just how much a Vic Fangio defense can do. This offseason was to add to their already solid young core. They gave Lock several new toys in the draft by picking Jerry Jeudy and KJ Hamler with their two first picks and his former college teammate Albert Okwuegbunam in the fourth round. Defensively they added Jurrell Casey and A.J. Bouye via trade and also drafted Michael Ojemudia. For the first time since 2015, Broncos Country has hope and a team that can make a strong push towards the playoffs.
