Over the years, Anders Bjork has become a well-known name to Bruins fans. The young forward has had high expectations since entering the Bruins system but been held back by injuries. Last season the Notre Dame product had three points in 20 games before a shoulder injury ended his season. During the 2019-2020 campaign, however, Bjork has started to live up to expectations.
The Bruins agreed to a one-year extension with netminder Jaroslav Halak on Friday evening.

The defending champs were besieged by injuries and a bullpen that struggled for the majority of the season. Although the Red Sox pitching struggled, some young players such as Josh Taylor stepped up. While the start of the 2020 season has been delayed, their optimism that the season will be played and Taylor will be an important piece for Boston.
Yesterday, the organization continued to add to improve their depth as the Providence Bruins announced that they had agreed to terms with Brady Lyle and Alex-Olivier Voyer on two- year AHL deals.
The Boston Bruins are optimistic for the return of their season. However, they’re not as optimistic about the return of a fan favorite on the blue line.
