The Los Angeles Clippers have agreed to terms with Ty Lue to become the team’s next head coach, according to Adrian Wojnarowski. Woj is reporting that the deal is a five-year contract.
The Miami Heat got back into the series against the Los Angeles Lakers with a 115-104 win Sunday night. Led by Jimmy Butler’s triple-double, the short-handed Heat found a way to extend the series.
The sixth-seeded Miami Marlins are in the playoffs just one season after losing 105 games. Returning to the postseason for the first time since 2003. They’ll face the third-seeded Chicago Cubs in the opening round, starting on Wednesday. The Cubs are taking part in the postseason for the fifth time in the previous six seasons.

The underdog Dolphins came out swinging against the Jaguars, opening up a 14-point lead at the end of the first quarter.
The Miami Dolphins and Jacksonville Jaguars kick off Week 3 of the NFL season in a Thursday night showdown. Both teams come off a three-point loss to division rivals. The Dolphins lost to the Buffalo Bills 31-28, while the Jaguars fell to the Tennessee Titans, 33-20.
