To Win a Super Bowl the Cowboys Need to Move on From Dak Prescott
I’ve most likely just made a lot of you mad. Don’t get me wrong, Dak Prescott is a solid leader and I’m sure he has some elite quality that I can actually see on the field. This isn’t a joke and it isn’t something I’m taking lightly. I’ve actually been thinking about this a while now and it’s time to say it; the Dallas Cowboys need to move on.
Fantasy Football: Three Sleeper Rookie Wide Receivers
There are no doubt some potentially great fantasy football finds in this rookie class. From all of the quarterbacks and receivers to the running backs taken in the first and early second round. But some of the truest talent in any draft are those who can produce when drafted in the later rounds. That is why today, I will be telling you about three late-round (third or later) talents that could make an impact on your fantasy football season. Some of these guys could be the next Terry McLaurin.
Five Bold Predictions for the Dallas Cowboys
Last season ended in a whirlwind of the inability to finish games for the Dallas Cowboys. Jason Garrett was fired seemingly five years too late. Dak Prescott’s contract has and still hangs in the balance as Jerry Jones and his crew slapped a franchise tag on their starting quarterback as they continue to negotiate a potential long-term deal. So far this offseason, they have lost key defensive pieces in Byron Jones and Jeff Heath, as well as future Hall of Famers Jason Witten and Travis Frederick. A lot don’t know what to expect with this year’s team, so here are my five bold predictions for this season.
St. Louis Cardinals Mount Rushmore
Caitlin Roche | May 3rd, 2020 In the hypothetical erection of The St. Louis Cardinals Mount Rushmore (which in my head are just giant busts super glued to the peak of the arch), four players have cemented their names at the top of record books and on the hearts of nearly every St. Louis Cardinals […]
Houston Texans Post Free Agency Seven Round Mock Draft
The Houston Texans’ season came to an abrupt end after giving up a massive lead to the eventual Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs. The Texans were exposed for not having enough depth on defense nor top-end talent to match up with the Chiefs blazing-fast offense.
Brandin Cooks' Fantasy Value in Houston
Brandin Cooks is switching uniforms. again. The question is, what does the trade to the Houston Texans do to his fantasy value? Is he a borderline WR2/WR3 or a top-10 sleeper? Say what you will about the Texans personnel decisions, the key for fantasy managers is how Cooks will affect the Texans’ offense and how the Texans’ offense will affect Cooks.
Why the 2000 Lakers Were Better than the 2001 Lakers
The 2001 Los Angeles Lakers had a magical playoff run going 15-1 to win the NBA championship, but I’m here to tell why the 2000 Lakers team was better. The 2000 team went 67-15, and the 2001 team went 56-26.
Purdue Center Matt Haarms Transferring; Another Big Man On The Move
Purdue University announced that Matt Haarms is transferring. The 7’3″ big man caught the coaching staff by surprise by entering the transfer portal as a graduate transfer. He will be eligible immediately for the 2020-21 season.
Louisville Cardinals Land Top Grad Transfer
Chris Mack and his Louisville coaching staff got a big get this weekend, with the commitment of graduate transfer Carlik Jones. The former Radford Highlander, Jones earned Big South Player of the Year accolades averaging 20 points per game, along with 5.1 rebounds to go along with 5.5 assists. He was a first-team All-Big South selection during the 2018-19 season as well.
Pittsburgh Pirates 2020 Season Preview
The Pirates’ 2019 campaign was a rough one, to be sure, going 69-93, finishing last in the division, and ending with the firing of manager Clint Hurdle, general manager Neal Huntington, and beginning a possible rebuild that has, unfortunately, seemingly been a long time coming.
Ten XFL Players NFL Teams Should Target
As with most sports leagues in the United States, and throughout many leagues across the world for that matter, COVID-19 has ended the inaugural season of the XFL. Because of the early end to the season, XFL players are also able to begin signing with NFL franchises sooner.
Atlanta Braves 2020 Season Preview
The 2019 season was an overall success, finishing 97-65 and winning their second straight National League East title. However, they lost to the St. Louis Cardinals in the National League Divisional Series 3-2, their tenth straight postseason series that ended in a loss. While the team floundered yet again in the postseason, it returns this season with their young core still very much intact and with another season under their belts. While they have the talent to make a postseason run, they’ll have plenty of competition yet again, both in the division and in the National League in general, standing in their way.
