Team Award Predictions: Seattle Seahawks

One of the most consistent franchises in all of football, the Seattle Seahawks were once again one of the premier contenders in the NFC last season. Led by superstar quarterback Russell Wilson and head coach Pete Carroll, the Seahawks won 11 games in 2019, capturing the fifth seed in the playoffs. After falling to the San Fransico 49ers in week 17, failing to capture home field in the playoffs, the Seahawks ultimately lost to the Green Bay Packers in the divisional round at Lambeau Field. Next season, Seattle looks to be among the elite teams in the league following the additions of Greg Olsen, Mike Iupati, and Brandon Shell in free agency.

Team Award Predictions: Buffalo Bills

For the second year in a row, the Buffalo Bills reached the playoffs in the 2019 season after the team’s first ten-win season since 1999. After a disappointing loss in Houston that saw them blow a 16-0 lead, the Bills will look to bounce back heading into next season. Led by head coach Sean Mcdermott and defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier, the strength once again will be the team’s defense, which ranked 2nd overall in the league last season. After the departure of Tom Brady from the AFC East, the Bills are the odds on favorites by many to capture their first division title in over 20 years, following an offseason that saw them add Stefon Diggs, AJ Klein, Vernon Butler, and Quinton Jefferson in free agency.

Team Award Predictions: Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers came within one game of the Super Bowl last season in the first year for rookie head coach Matt Lafleur. A major reason for this was the team went 8-1 in one-score games and finished undefeated in divisional games. This allowed the Packers to earn a first-round bye in the NFC playoffs. Heading into next season, defensive coordinator Mike Pettine will look to build off a season that saw his defense finish ninth overall in points allowed. Following the 2020 draft, the team will look to transform into a power running team following the selection of running back A.J. Dillion, a transformation from a Packers offense that is used to throwing the ball all over the field under past regimes.

Five Bold Predictions for the Denver Broncos

The expectations surrounding the Denver Broncos are very high, heading into the 2020 season. After an offseason that saw them add A.J. Bouye, Jurrell Casey, and Melvin Gordon along with wide receivers Jerry Jeudy and KJ Hamler inthe draft, the Broncos are a team to watch. The 2019 season was a forgetful one for the Broncos as they finished 7-9 and missed the playoffs for the fourth consecutive season. Most of this was due to the ongoing quarterback carousel. Joe Flacco started the first eight games before getting injured and replaced by Brandon Allen. Ultimately, the Broncos would end the season winning four of their last five games under Drew Lock after he came off injured reserve and injected life into the Denver offense.
