Sports stars make millions during the peak of their career and most should be set up for the rest of their life.

However, life after competitive sport is tough for many athletes. Many struggle to achieve more success once their sporting days are over and very few athletes earn enough money to set them up for the remainder of their post-sporting lives. In fact, some sports stars have made their real fortunes after their sports careers ended. Some have made millions in business, had successful political careers, and some have even prospered in brand names. Here are some athletes who have had great success after their sports careers ended.
