Jose Ramirez Cleveland Indians
Ramirez is going to see some votes for the American League MVP and he made a compelling argument in the last week of the season. He had ten RBIs in the first three games this week and his 12 total, along with his 1.077 SLG% was the best in the league.
Marcell Ozuna Atlanta Braves
On the National League side of the MVP race, Ozuna is someone who will see some votes go his way as he had an impressive first season with Atlanta, leading the NL in home runs and RBI. Last week he ended his great regular season on a high note; he had a three and a four-hit game to go along with leading the league in OBP (.579) and AVG (.467)
Adalberto Mondesi Kansas City Royals
Raul Adalberto Mondesi is going to be a part of the rebuilding process in Kansas City. Mondesi ended the season with multiple hits in the last five games and his .533 AVG lead all of baseball this week, accompanied by the second-best SLG% (1.000).
Jackie Bradley Jr. Boston Red Sox
We could have very well seen the end of the Jackie Bradley Jr. era in Boston. As he enters free agency, he made a statement to be one of the more sought after players. He began the week with a 4-for-5 performance, his 12 runs lead the MLB this week and his .429 was third in the AL.
Ke’Bryan Hayes Pittsburgh Pirates
Hayes did not play enough games to qualify for this year’s NL ROY, but he made a case that he’s someone to look out for in 2021. Hayes reached base in 22 of his 24 games played this year and concluded this season with a 5-for-5 performance last week with an NL-best 14 hits and .519 AVG.
