MLB DFS September 26: Value Bats

We are in the last weekend of the regular season. While we still have some playoff seeding to clean up, there is still a chance to make your winning lineups this season. As always, let’s take a look at the best value bats for this 7 p.m. slate of games.

Michael Brantley ($3,100)

This is very cheap for a good hitter like Brantley. While the Astros are not playing for anything anymore since they locked up a playoff spot last night, Brantley will be going up against Kyle Gibson, who has not been good at all this season. Incidentally, all of Brantley’s five HRs this season have come against the AL West with four of them in September.

Yoan Moncada ($3,300)

Moncada is not on a good streak right now. But, the Sox are playing against a lefty in Jon Lester. They fare a little bit better against lefties so Moncada should get plenty of RBI opportunities at the top of the lineup. He has also fared better at home with a .763 OPS as opposed to .605 on the road.

Francisco Lindor ($3,600)

Lindor is so cheap because he is being overshadowed by Jose Ramirez‘s hot streak. But Lindor is always a solid option, especially for this cheap. The Indians are red hot at the moment and are battling for the AL Central crown. Thank goodness they are playing the Pirates.

Bonus Homerun Call: Nicholas Castellanos
