This is the most wonderful time of the year. When you walked outside this morning the air was cool and crisp, the leaves are starting to change, and football will be on soon.
Do you know what we do on the weekends in the fall? We watch football. What happens when we watch football? We bet on football. And what happens when we bet on football? We get rich. So let’s do just that.

College Football
Lock Of The Week: UCF (-7.5) vs Georgia Tech
This is the first time we are seeing UCF this season. We saw Georgia Tech squeak out a win vs Florida State last week but let’s be honest, this team stinks. UCF will win this game by three touchdowns. This is my lock of the college football slate.
N.C. State (-1) vs Wake Forrest
I am a big fan of Sam Hartman, the quarterback at Wake Forrest. But he got crushed by Clemson last week. Yes, there is a sizeable gap between N.C. State and Clemson, but Wake Forrest has no offensive line. If they had even a decent one, Wake Forrest +1 would be the play. However, that is not the case here.
Miami (+3) vs Lousiville
I love, love, love D’Eriq King. However, Louisville has a bit of a more dynamic offense. Miami is still trying to figure itself out on offense. But I am going with Miami’s defense with this pick. They are a step above Lousiville and if Gregory Rousseau didn’t opt-out, this would be my lock. This will be a low scoring game, but I have Miami by a touchdown.
NFL
Lock Of The Week: Rams (+1.5) vs Eagles
I’m not sure what the oddsmakers saw last week to make the Rams a 1.5 point underdog against the Eagles, but take advantage of it. Let’s be honest, Carson Wentz…….eh, not great. Not saying that Jared Goff is a tier-one guy, but he is much better than Wentz. The question here is, who is going to block Aaron Donald? Give me the Rams, as my NFL lock of the week.
Cowboys (-4) vs the Falcons
Again, the Falcons should not be getting four points here. There is no way that this a trap. The Cowboys are going to win, and they will win by two touchdowns. The Falcons have zero answers for Ezekiel Elliott.
Chiefs vs Chargers Over 48
I picked the over in the Rams vs Cowboys game because there were some rumblings about “fast turf” in LA. Well, the turf was fast (nevermind that the over didn’t hit,) and we are adding Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs offense into that mix? The Chiefs might hit the over by themselves.
