New York Giants cornerback DeAndre Baker has been charged with four counts of robbery with a firearm, Broward County State Attorney Mike Satz announced today.

The charges stem from a May 13th incident in Miramar, Fla. Baker, the Giants’ first-round pick (30th overall) in the 2019 NFL Draft out of Georgia, is accused of stealing cash, watches and other valuables from four men at a house party in the city.

He has been charged with four counts of robbery with firearm. If he’s convicted, the punishment for robbery with a firearm carries a mandatory minimum of 10 years and up to life in state prison.

Baker surrendered to authorities on May 16 and was released on bond pending the investigation. His next court hearing appearance has not been released.

Broward County prosecutors also announced that they are declining to file any criminal charges against Seattle Seahawks cornerback Quinton Dunbar, who was also arrested in relation to this incident.
