The NASCAR Cup series made its return on Sunday and now its time for the Xfinity series to come back. The Xfinity drivers head to Darlington for some Tuesday Night racing. The starting lineup was set by a random draw so there will be no qualifying or practice. This race will be a bit of a wild card with most of the drivers not participating in any NASCAR events in the last couple of months. Now let’s jump into our top drivers for Tuesday Nights race as we provided you with some of our top high and mid salary drivers.

High Salary Drivers

Kyle Busch (16,000 DK) – Dale

By far the most costly driver for this Xfinity event, and with very good reason. As Busch who is the all-time leader in Series wins, is slated to be starting in the 26th position. With that in mind, the potential for bonus points through place differential is very palatable. It won’t be long until Busch is weeding out the slower drivers ahead of him, as he continues to charge to the front of the pack. Granted this is a very steep price to pay for one of your top fantasy drivers. However, when you factor in the added bonus points through place differential, along with a strong possibility at gaining extra points through laps led. The investment could be well worth it if you are able to fit him into some of your lineups.

Justin Allgaier (11,000 DK) – Dale

Allgaier is currently ninth overall in the Xfinity standings, having led 140 laps so far. I feel like he is just waiting to breakthrough. Darlington could be the event he finally puts it all together. During the last four races at the Lady In Black, Allgaier has finished ninth or better on the last three occasions. Ultra consistent, in his nine races at Darlington he has finished every single lap. If you aren’t able to fit Busch into your plans, Allgaier could be a solid alternative.

Mid-Level

Daniel Hemric (9,100) – Brandon

To start the season, Hemric got caught up in a couple of wrecks making his average fantasy points lower than what he is capable of. That could help him be less owned and make him a great value driver. Due to the random draw, Hemric will be starting 23rd. Hemric has started two races at Darlington in the Xfinity series. In those races, he finished 11th and 18th. With him starting 23rd, that will allow him a good opportunity to score a lot of place differential points. I expect Hemric too run in the top ten most of the day and get a good finish.

Brett Moffitt (8,900 DK) – Dale

Moffitt was having a decent early start in the Xfinity Series, as prior to the 2020 season he had run just three times over six seasons in the Xfinity. Looking towards this year, Moffitt has already raced four of the five races, and managed to crack the top 20 in his past three attempts. It was during weeks two and three, that Moffitt would put together back to back top-15 finishes at Las Vegas and Fontana respectively. Slated to begin Tuesday nights race in 22nd position, he should be able to pick up some bonus points through place differential. As I look for Moffitt to challenge for a top-15 spot or possibly even better.

Jeffrey Earnhardt (8,300 DK) – Brandon

Earnhardt will be making his 2020 Xfinity Series debut for JD Motorsports. Since he has not competed in any races earlier in the season, he didn’t score any points. Because of that, he is starting near the back of the field. He will be starting 34th as a result of the drawing for the starting position. With him starting so far back that gives him plenty of opportunities to get place differential points. Earnhardt’s only Xfinity series start at Darlington resulted in a 20th place finish. I don’t expect Earnhardt to be a contender for a top ten but a good top 20 finish will be enough to get great value from him.
