Brady Podloski | April 24th, 2020

With the first round of the NFL draft complete, we look forward to the second round as its the only sporting event still going on in the world! Round one of the draft brought some runs on positional groups like linebackers and wide receivers. Yet there was not a single safety selected, which leaves some significant talent on the board. The second round of the NFL draft starts at 7pm EST, so here are the top 30 players remaining in the draft.

Biggest surprises not drafted in the first round.

Josh Jones, LT, Houston

Jones was considered to be a top-five tackle by my key draft analysts as he had a high level of play during his last year. He improved his pass sets and hand usage, as well as run blocking every year. He’s a slam dunk for the Cincinnati Bengals to pick with their need at tackle.

Xavier McKinney, S, Alabama

I thought for sure, teams were going to value McKinney’s versatility and play recognition. As well he’s a great fit for lots of the teams. Regardless, someone is going to get a great player in McKinney.
