On Monday, I released the first round of my three-round mock draft. Today, I will move on to round two. There are still several high caliber players on the board and there has been lots of movement before the second round starts as a result of the first round. Let’s get the second day of picks started. Cincinnati is on the clock with the 33rd pick.

33. Cincinnati Bengals – Josh Jones, OT, Houston
The Bengals have done a solid job in free agency, actually throwing out some cash. One place they haven’t though is right tackle. Bobby Hart is currently at the top of the depth chart. Jones has been in conversation for a first-round pick and has slipped here to Cincinnati, who will gladly scoop him up.
34. Indianapolis Colts – Kenneth Murray, LB, Oklahoma
The Colts have a solid roster and with this first pick look to the future. Anthony Walker is a free agent following this season and Murray is on the board for them to replace him.
35. Seattle Seahawks (via Detroit thru New Orleans) – Julian Okwara, EDGE, Notre Dame
As usual, Seattle moves out of the first round to gather selections in the second round. L.J. Collier didn’t provide much stability in his rookie year and Jadeveon Clowney isn’t returning. Okwara and Collier will be a good young pass-rushing duo to watch.
36. New York Giants – Ashtyn Davis, S, California
The Giants continue to rebuild their defense with the selection of Davis. The secondary needs help, especially at the safety spot.
37. Detroit Lions – Terrell Lewis, EDGE, Alabama
The Lions are desperate for someone opposite of Trey Flowers as an edge rusher. The defense has gotten three key players in Isaiah Simmons, Kristian Fulton, and now Lewis.
38. Carolina Panthers – Noah Igbinoghene, CB, Auburn
With James Bradberry heading to the Giants, the Panthers need a second cornerback. They pair Donte Jackson with Igbinoghene here.
39. Green Bay Packers (via Miami) – Brandon Aiyuk, WR, Arizona State
The first selection of three for Green Bay this round is a receiver, which shouldn’t come as a surprise. The Packers added Devin Funchess on Tuesday, meaning they have another tall, lengthy receiver instead of impeccable route runners. Aiyuk is the second-best route runner in the class and ran a fast 40-time at the combine.
40. Houston Texans – Lloyd Cushenberry III, IOL, LSU
The Texans somewhat solved their tackle situation last year. The interior of the offensive line is still a desperate need.
41. Cleveland Browns – Willie Gay Jr, LB, Mississippi State
With Joe Schobert now in Jacksonville, linebacker is a top priority for the Browns. Gay has a ton of red flags but is worthy of a first-round selection based on talent alone.
42. Minnesota Vikings (via Jacksonville thru Miami) – Denzel Mims, WR, Baylor
After two selections on the defensive side of the ball, it is now time to find a replacement for Stefon Diggs. Mims could go higher than this and potentially to Minnesota at the back end of the first round.
43. Chicago Bears – Trevon Diggs, CB, Alabama
Chicago’s current cornerbacks outside of Kyle Fuller are Buster Skrine, Artie Burns, Duke Shelley, and other no name players. The cornerback position should be reloaded for Chicago.
44. Indianapolis Colts – D’Andre Swift, RB, Georgia
The first running back finally comes off the board at pick 44. Swift is the Austin Ekeler in this offense for Philip Rivers.
45. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – J.K. Dobbins, RB, Ohio State
Two running backs in a row, as Dobbins joins Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers have now added a franchise tackle and a franchise running back if there is such a thing anymore.
46. Denver Broncos – Matt Hennessy, IOL, Temple
The Broncos keep adding around Drew Lock here. Hennessy will take over as the starting center in Denver.
47. Atlanta Falcons – Justin Madubuike, IDL, Texas A&M
The Falcons added Tyeler Davison last week, but still need help on the defensive line alongside Grady Jarrett.
48. New York Jets – Austin Jackson, OT, USC
The Jets have added a lot of talent on the offensive line, so let’s add another piece to the offensive line to help Sam Darnold.
49. Pittsburgh Steelers – Raekwon Davis, DL, Alabama
The Steelers lost Javon Hargrave to the Eagles last week and find a replacement with Davis.
50. Chicago Bears – Antoine Winfield Jr. S, Minnesota
The Bears continue to remake their secondary by adding Winfield to go alongside Eddie Jackson. The Bears saw what the Packers had in Adrian Amos and Darnell Savage and wanted their own lethal safety combination.
51. Dallas Cowboys – A.J. Terrell, CB, Clemson
The Cowboys lost a lot of talent on the defensive side of the ball, none bigger than Byron Jones. Terrell will try his best to fill those shoes.
52. Los Angeles Rams – Curtis Weaver, EDGE, Boise State
The Rams lost Dante Fowler (among other pieces on defense) due to a lack of salary cap. Now, they try to find Fowler’s replacement with Weaver.
53. Philadelphia Eagles – Malik Harrison, LB, Ohio State
The Eagles need linebacker help almost as much as they need receiver help.
54. Buffalo Bills – Troy Pride Jr. CB, Notre Dame
The Bills have a fairly stacked roster outside of cornerback depth. Pride is mostly a slot cornerback that will fit nicely in Sean McDermott‘s scheme.
55. Baltimore Ravens – Jordyn Brooks, LB, Texas Tech
The Ravens desperately need a linebacker. This selection makes it four linebackers that have gone in the second round so far.
56. Miami Dolphins – Jonathan Taylor, RB, Wisconsin
Taylor could very well go much higher than this. In this mock though, the running backs fall to the mid-second round with the teams taking the running backs best suited to fit their new quarterbacks. Taylor has honed in on his receiving skills and will form a good tandem with Jordan Howard.
57. Houston Texans – Donovan Peoples-Jones, WR, Michigan
The run on receivers is off and running here as Houston tries to fill the void left by their horrific trade of DeAndre Hopkins.
58. Green Bay Packers (via Minnesota thru Miami) – Matt Peart, OT, UConn
The tackle class has a ton of depth this year. Green Bay takes advantage and takes Peart, who is more of a complete player right now then players in the first round conversation such as Jones and Jackson.
59. Seattle Seahawks – Jaylon Johnson, CB, Utah
The Seahawks traded for Quinton Dunbar on Monday night but still could use some help at cornerback. Johnson is a perfect example of a Seattle cornerback.
60. Baltimore Ravens – Tee Higgins, WR, Clemson
Higgins is all over analysts boards and I have him lower than most. Baltimore seems like a good landing spot for him to team up with Marquise Brown.
61. Tennessee Titans – Josh Uche, EDGE, Michigan
The Titans continue to build their front seven, adding Uche to a pass-rushing group that is full of potential with Harold Landry, Vic Beasley, and Reggie Gilbert.
62. Green Bay Packers – Troy Dye, LB, Oregon
Green Bay’s third and final selection of the second round fills the linebacker position. Dye is a poor man’s Patrick Queen and should develop nicely behind Christian Kirksey.
63. Kansas City Chiefs – Jonah Jackson, IOL, Ohio State
The Chiefs add depth to their interior offensive line. He could challenge Martinas Rankin for the starting left guard spot or Austin Reiter for the center spot.
64. Seattle Seahawks – Prince Tega Wanogho, OT, Auburn
Seattle needs offensive line help. It’s almost like we’ve been saying this for five years and nothing has changed.
