NBA DFS: Fave Five for January 31st, 2020

Josh Livi | January 31st, 2020

Wow! We killed it last night and hope you did too! Seven games tonight in a star-studded night! Let get to it and win some money!

Guard: Damian Lillard, Portland Trail Blazers (DK-$9,900) (FD-$10,100)

Lillard has been on an absolute tear as of late! He’s been a man on a mission! I had him in my Fave Five two nights ago and he rewarded owners with 70 fantasy points! Plug, play, and lock him into your lineups. Yes, he’s facing the Los Angeles Lakers, but that doesn’t bother me. He’s gonna ball and he’s my LOCK OF THE NIGHT!

Forward: Brandon Ingram, New Orleans Pelicans (DK-$7,400) (FD- $7,700)

Welcome to my Fave Five list, Ingram. This is definitely a price error in my opinion. He is averaging 42.8 fantasy points per game. That’s good for 25 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 4.5 assists. He’s been a stud and it’s time we plug him into our lineups. He gets a cupcake matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies tonight and I see no one stopping this animal. Plug him into your lineups, and expect about 50 fantasy points from Ingram tonight.

Power Forward: Zion Williamson, New Orleans Pelicans (DK-$7,00) (FD-$6,500)

Similar to Ingram mentioned above, Zion here is severely underpriced. Considering he’s under priced, he gets the Grizzlies tonight. His minutes have gone up every single game since he’s come back from a long injury. He logged 30 minutes last game and I expect that number to increase even more tonight. He’s averaging 18 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists. That’s good for 30 fantasy points per game. With a pretty nonexistent Grizzlies defense, watch the rookie phenom go off!

Center: P.J. Tucker, Houston Rockets (DK-$4,400) (FD-$4,300)

Tucker is the type of player who is better in real life than fantasy. He does all the little things, steals, rebounds, shoots, and defends. However, he’s getting a ton of minutes and these little stats equate to a pretty good fantasy return. Last game Tucker put up five points, 10 rebounds, five assist, and a block. Good for 24.8 fantasy points. I’m expecting a similar game from Tucker tonight, and at this price point, 25 fantasy points is a gift! He’s my SLEEPER OF THE NIGHT!

Util: Ricky Rubio, Phoenix Suns (DK-$5,900) (FD-$5,500)

The crafty point guard, overcame a dirty ankle injury to play a nice 26 minutes. Rubio gets my pick here because the Oklahoma City Thunder have given up 38.2 fantasy points per game to opposing guards. Rubio is a pass first point guard and that will bode well for him today. The Thunder have also given up an average of 7.2 assists to opposing guards. Rubio is averaging 8.8 assists so this is a prime matchup for him. I’m expecting him to completely dazzle tonight on his way to possibly a triple-double. Get him in your lineup tonight and enjoy the ride. He’s going to surprise a lot of people!

That does it for today’s edition of Livi’s Fave Five! Hope you guys enjoy it and win some money as well!
