Not all love stories look as good as they are.
Earl Thomas and his wife, Nina, were living what appeared to be a happy life since getting married in an extravagant wedding of April 2016. They have since had three kids and all appeared to be fine.

However, on late Wednesday evening, Earl Thomas put out an Instagram video stating that he and Nina had an incident and it would be on TMZ soon.
Referring to the immensity of the TMZ story, Thomas wisely stated, “I want to get ahead of this.”

TMZ reportedly got a hold of court documents from April 13 in which there was an altercation between several people, including the Thomas couple.
The police report stated, “We observed that a black female wearing an orange sweater with a knife in her hand, later identified as Nina Thomas, was chasing a shirtless black male, later identified as Earl Thomas, with a pistol in hand around a vehicle.”
Nina had claimed that Earl’s brother, Seth, came to pick up Earl. She decided to investigate where they were going by logging into his Snapchat. She then saw a video of Earl with another woman. Nina proceeded to track down her location and was led to an Airbnb home, where she met two other women whom she had called in a effort to help confront Earl.
Nina grabbed Earl’s nine-millimeter Beretta pistol from home to use to “scare” him.
After arriving at the Airbnb, Nina was surprised to find Seth, Earl, and several women naked in bed. She proceeded to take the magazine out and put the pistol to Earl’s head.
In a scary turn of events, Nina said she thought that she “took out the magazine thinking that the gun could not fire.” Unaware that there was still a round left in the gun, Nina luckily refrained from pulling the trigger, for if she had, Earl would not be here.
The cops also said that they have video footage from a women’s cellphone which shows Nina pointing the gun at Earl’s head and her finger on a loaded pistol. Earl was able to wrestle the gun away from Nina and is lucky to be alive. Nina continued to strike Earl many times on the face and nose.
The police arrested Nina, who was booked for burglary of a residence with the intent to commit aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She was later bonded out.
Earl and Nina have a restraining order of 200 yards to keep things calm. The former mentioned in his Instagram video that he has been seeing his kids, which implies that his wife has them and he has been able to pick them up.
This latest drama is not an ideal situation for Thomas or the Ravens but this story is different than most domestic issues as the athlete was the victim in this case.
The Ravens will now have to decide how to proceed with this delicate situation with one of the all-time greatest safeties to play in the NFL.
Thomas, 31, played for the Seattle Seahawks for the first eight years of his career, making six Pro Bowls and being dubbed three times First-Team All-Pro, and twice to the second-team All-Pro.
A Super Bowl champion with Seattle in 2013, Thomas signed a four-year, $55 million deal last offseason with the Ravens and was selected to the Pro Bowl yet again. Through 140 career games, Thomas has amassed 30 interceptions, three pick-sixes, two sacks, 11 forced fumbles, and six fumbles recovered.
Thomas is widely considered the best active safety in the NFL and one of the greatest ever.
