The New York Jets placed wide receiver Quincy Enunwa on the physically unable to perform list on Tuesday. Receiver Josh Bellamy was also placed on the PUP list.

Enunwa was placed on the list due to a neck injury while Bellamy is dealing with a shoulder injury.

This will have an effect on the Jets financially. Enunwa is owed $6 million this year and will carry $7.8 million against the cap, according to Rich Cimini of ESPN. He does have an opt-out clause after this year with a $9.6 million dead cap hit, according to Scott Thompson of SNY. Bellamy was scheduled to make $2.25 million this year.

Enunwa played in just one game last year before he reinjured his neck. He has 119 receptions for 1,617 yards and five touchdowns in his career. Bellamy, whose first year with the Jets was last year, had two catches for 20 yards and has 78 receptions for 1,019 yards and five touchdowns in his career.

In addition to placing Enunwa and Bellamy on the PUP list, the Jets waived cornerback Kyron Brown, receiver Keon Hatcher, running back Jalin Moore and defensive end Charles Tapper.
