The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have finally unveiled the design of their new uniforms for the 2020 NFL season.

The reveal video was posted this afternoon on the team’s official Twitter account. It features All-Pro linebacker Lavonte David, former first-round pick Devin White, and breakout star receiver Chris Godwin (before his recent number change).
The new designs are nearly identical to the Super Bowl era rendition adopted by the team in 1997. Coincidentally, 1997 was also the first time the team made the playoffs, ending a 15-year drought. Surely, the Buccaneers are hoping for a similar turnaround in 2020.
Back are the bold font with black and creamsicle orange stroke. The pants, too, feature the familiar black, orange, and red side trim.
However, while the red over pewter and all-white sets are virtually the same as the previous era, the team unveiled an all-pewter Color Rush design that can be used up to three times in 2020.

Color Rush designs are typically deployed in primetime games which the Buccaneers figure to have more of in the coming season thanks to the addition of Tom Brady.

Number Changes
Alongside the release of the new uniform designs, Tampa Bay also announced a slew of number changes beyond the aforementioned change of Godwin from No. 12 to 14.
Cornerback Carlton Davis has switched from No. 33 to 24, which was held by Brent Grimes when Davis was drafted.
Nickel corner Sean Murphy-Bunting is switching from No. 26 to 23.
Safety Andrew Adams will be returning to No. 26, which he wore in 2018 before being bumped to No. 39 in 2019 when Murphy-Bunting joined the team.
Receiver John Franklin will be sporting No. 5 after yielding No. 14 to Chris Godwin.
Finally, newly-acquired right tackle (and virtually every other position on the offensive line) Joe Haeg will don No. 73.
